The Best Piece of Real Estate for Promotion and Marketing

Where Should You Advertise Your Brand Logo?

The Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association reported that in June of 2011 that there were more than 320 million cell phone subscriptions. This is big news to those who are trying to find the best way to promote their company and brand. In today’s society the use of smartphones has become somewhat of an obsession according to a study posted in the journal Personal and Ubiquitous Computing. This study, done in 2011, found that their participants pulled out and checked their phone an average of 34 times per day. Think that sounds crazy? In February of 2012, Nokia reported that the average person looks at their phone 150 times per day or about every 6.5 minutes of every waking hour!

Google’s Mobile Movement Project has also found some startling statistics about smartphone users:

–  80% will not leave home without their smartphone

–  83% use their smartphone on the go

–  78% use their smartphone in a store

–  71% use their smartphones at work and in restaurants

–  43% of smartphone users are willing to give up beer for a smartphone

–  33% would rather give up their TV than their smartphone

The use of smartphones and mobile devices isn’t likely to stop anytime soon either, according to Tomi T Ahonen best-selling technology and media author, strategy consultant and motivational speaker reported that “mobile is the fastest growing industry of all time going from zero to $1 trillion in 2010 and that is expected to double by 2020.” Smartphones are all around us and it is common knowledge these days that using mobile forms of communication has become the fastest way to reach consumers, but can these mobile devices be useful in ways other than through email, SMS and apps?

If you are looking for the best piece of real estate to place your logo or message, why not place it right on the back of a mobile device like a smartphone or tablet? The impression rate cannot get any better!

This impression rate increases even more when your advertisement is placed directly on a smartphone because the smartphone user is not always the only person who is able to see it. Often times people are in public places like work, restaurants and shopping malls while using their mobile devices, or simply have them laying out on a table or desk for others to see and notice.

Placing your logo, message or brand in a creative way directly on the back of a mobile device means getting noticed… over and over and over again
